Tom Trago & Cinnaman at the Opium Rooms

Tom Trago and Cinnaman at the Opium Rooms

  • Support: DJ Fear
  • Garden:Together Disco

Tom Trago’s relationship with music is particularly intense. “I couldn’t imagine life without music,” he says. “I feel this physical need to make music every day. It’s like my body needs it as much as it needs food, water or sunshine.”

Right now, Trago’s immersion in music is almost total. An internationally renowned DJ, producer, live performer and label owner with three critically acclaimed albums to his name, the Dutchman divides his time between all-day studio sessions, DJ gigs and live shows all over the world, and a steady stream of musical collaborations with friends from Amsterdam and beyond. You sometimes wonder how he finds any time for sleep.

Cinnaman is part of the infamous Rush Hour Record Store crew. He is also one of the most talented and diverse DJs to emerge from Holland. He hosted several clubnights like Viral Radio and Colors at Club 11 and Trouw. You can’t really define Cinnaman’s style. It’s somewhere between the spectrum of House, Garage, Dubstep, UK Funky, Two Step, Detroit Techno and UK Techno.

Paul Woolford (Hotflush – Planet E) at Button Factory

Paul Woolford (Hotflush - Planet E) at Button Factory

With forthcoming music being released on Carl Craig’s Planet E, Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings, London’s Phonica Records, Paul Woolford keeps reinventing himself and pushing the boundaries, maintaining a hectic global tour schedule playing key clubs globally such as Berghain / Panorama Bar (OFFICIAL), fabric London, Warung and D Edge in Brazil, and for the 6th year, the renewal of his key We Love.. Space on Sundays residency in Ibiza.

Initially inspired by the constant throb of the radio throughout his childhood, the seeds of Paul Woolford’s future direction were sewn by the time a record- collecting addiction kicked in properly during his teenage years. This insatiable appetite for musical stimulation has driven him to explore far beyond the cutting-edge house and techno that is his stock-in-trade, and led him down more experimental paths, embracing aspects of improvised jazz through his collaborative work with Paul Hession, and taking huge inspiration from the modern composition of Steve Reich. All this is distilled within the house and techno dynamic that Woolford has made second-nature and you can clearly see these influences emerging across various productions.
