Rory & Chris came to us looking to an industrial chic style wedding, a multifunctional modern gathering where were could bring together their family from Ireland and NYC together under one roof for their celebration of love. From the moment we met Rory and Chris there was an instant connection, this tasteful, elegant and fun loving couple knew exactly what they wanted down to the very last quirky, eclectic detail.

We gave ourselves plenty of time to plan this gathering with them as they were living in Brooklyn and we would need to schedule in re-grouping time around different time zones. We secured one of our favourite venues in Dublin for their big day at D-Light studios, serving as the perfect, versatile backdrop for Rory & Chris’s being day.

We focused on mainly greenery, geometric shapes, vintage and disco chic elements to bring the space together for the day. With a contemporary casual, unseated buffet dinner being served by Pickler foods. The ceremony was nothing short of a joyous affair with lush back drop of greens, long steam candles and starry disco ball lighting. As their guests had food and mingled, the H&G team went to work to turn around the ceremony room in a grand late night disco dance affair to surprise and delight the grooms and their guests.
