Anti-Valentine’s Events
The mere mention of the day is rarely met without a groan and roll of the eyes for singles and the romantically-attached alike, so credit where credits due to the creative folk who have hijacked one of the most loathed dates on the calendar and transformed it into a weekend-long festival of debauchery to be enjoyed rather than endured, regardless of relationship status. Valentine’s Day may seduce us all yet.
Hunt and Gather’s 4th consecutive Vday shindig All Fur No Knickers – Strangelove will be taking over a secret city location where guests will be treated to a surreal evening of guilty pleasures, a indulgent and trippy blend of star-gazing, burlesque and love potions. A performance by Azaria Starfire, disco tunes from Mother resident Rocky T.Delgado and an alter-ego make-over closet will offer transformations to party-goers await. But if you haven’t snapped up a ticket, all is not lost. Here’s an overview of the best of the rest on offer this year.
