Wunderground second birthday that night. An event not to be missed !

A collaboration between three of Paris underground’s hottest exports, 2012 saw the launch of Apollonia, the imprint and DJ outfit from Shonky, Dan Ghenacia and Dyed Soundorom.

Presenting a back2back2back spectaculaire, Apollonia DJ together for extended sets of five hours or more, following a strict one-record-each concept for the full duration of the show.

Bringing their three-way performance to only the most infamous clubs and parties around the world, some of their favourite annual events include DC10 Ibiza, Panorama Bar Berlin, BPM Festival Playa Del Carmen, Fabric London, for whom they mixed fabric 70 of the renowned compilation series and Amnesia, Ibiza, where they made their debut at the infamous club’s opening party closing the terrace in May 2014.

Parallel to their gigs and studio endeavours, the boys also manage their own self-titled record label, which has seen 14 releases so far, including re-releases from Point G, Callisto and Kerri Chandler, together with new music from Apollonia themselves, David K and Diego Krause.

Often referred to as one of the underground scene’s best-known supergroups, Apollonia maintain a unsurpassed level of DJing and performance while also receiving universal respect from their peers in the industry and fans alike. All done with smiles on their faces and a constant sense of fun. They remain one of the industry’s most popular teams and deservedly so…

To date the trio have put out their debut EP on the label, but the anticipation for 2014 undoubtedly centres around their first album “Tour à Tour ». Coming in Autumn, the forthcoming release is sure to be the highlight of the year and Apollonia’s career to date.

Joy Orbison (Peter O’Grady), a dubstep producer from Croydon, London, England, has cited a range of influences including Phil Spector, Todd Edwards, Ray Keith, Martin Hannett, and Arthur Russell.

He made his commercial recording debut in 2009 on Scuba’s Hotflush label with the euphoric underground hit “Hyph Mngo,” which would top Factmagazine’s Tracks of 2009 list. Prior to the year’s end, he kicked off his Doldrums label with his second single, “J. Doe,” and remixed tracks by Jose James and Four Tet.

A third release, “The Shrew Would Have Cushioned the Blow,” was issued the following March, just after it was officially introduced on Scuba’s Sub:stance mix for Ostgut.

With his truly unique style, ranging from the darker side of tech house to the raw house beats, Bulgarian-based Metodi Hristov was able to win the fans of electronic music for a short period of time. He loves to experiment and mix up different music styles, which results in an unexpectedly good combination.

His release „Step Outside“ back in May 2014 was cited by Matthias Tanzmann as his Number 1 record of the Ibiza season. It wasn’t only Moonharbour main man who was all over Metodi’s anthem. His productions gain support by various world known artists for some years, like: Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Mendo, Andre Crom, Mark Knight, Jay Lumen, Pan-Pot, Ramon Tapia, Audiojack and others.

Metodi has produced a huge library of quality tracks and is currently producing for big labels and remixing popular artists, converting the music to fit his own style. A part of those labels are Glasgow Underground, Gruuv, Rejected, Lapsus Music, OFF Recordings, Deeperfect, ViVa Music, Toolroom Records, KD Music and many more.

As well as being a highly respected producer he has already earned a reputation for being a formidable DJ having played all over the world and with some particularly notable sets.

Metodi’s rise over the last year has been nothing short of phenomenal!
