ABOUT:
#TheFlowProject is an event dedicated to workshops surrounding self-care. Through talks, open discussions and practical exercises each element of self-care will be explored in a section-by-section basis.

With a complementary FLOW workbook, attendees will not only be taught the techniques to achieve a happier mindset but also be given the tools to take home that can be further integrated into everyday life.

The workshops will be taking place within a large scale art installation. Taking inspiration from the idea of “safe space”, H&G Creations will be transforming the venue into a sanctuary of acceptance to allow guest to open-up to their fullest.

To feed the mind and body, Fumbally Cafe will be providing food, home-brewed fermented drinks, tea and coffee at the class intervals.

Workshop Section:

SECTION 1: SELF TALK
We will focus on the way you speak to yourself determining your reality.

SECTION 2: ACCEPTANCE & FORGIVENESS
Two of the most important concepts in letting go of pain and creating peace. .

SECTION 3: GRATITUDE
We will dive deep into how forming a habit of gratitude can transform how you look at the world. There are gifts from life to appreciate.

SECTION 4: BEING YOURSELF
You often hear people say just be yourself. What is it to be yourself? It is allowing yourself to express your natural tendencies towards the things you like, towards the things you want to do and say. It is allowing yourself to go towards those things regardless of whether other people like them or not. That’s the hardest part about trying to be you. In this section, we will delve into the importance of finding your true colours, ambitions, likes, dislikes, untainted by the wider world. Expose the things that make you happy, and learn to cultivate them.

SECTION 5: LOVING KINDNESS
A way to increase your well-being is to have a focus of being loving and kind towards people. There is an interesting paradox with this. Other people will benefit from your loving and kind energy but you will benefit the most. You’re the one who will consistently have good energy flowing through you. This section will showcase the factors to sharing loving kindness to friends, family, strangers and yourself.

SECTION 6: MINDFULNESS & AWARENESS
This section will show that mindfulness is more than a buzz word. It is one of the most important skills to learn if you want to enjoy your life. To close the day of workshops, this section will go in depth about how recognising awareness change your life.

Talks / Open Discussions / Practical Exercises / Immersive Art Instillation / Take Home FLOW journal / Lunch + Snacks + Refreshments provided by The Fumbally Stables.

PLEASE BRING:
A yoga mat, blanket, pillow and or any other comfortable items with you as we will be getting cosy for the day. Please dress in loose, comfortable, warm clothing. Be as expressive as you wish. Please bring a reusable water bottle and or a keep cup where possible.
