What to see and do at Dublin City Block Party

June 29, 2016 – Culture, Events, Festivals, Food & Drink, Music

Since summer 2014, Dublin City Block Party has to be a reason why we love Dublin in summer, even if it rains! We are just super excited for this year’s event. With such an eccentric line up, we feel this year will be the best yet.

Located right in the heart of the Liberties in the Tivoli Theatre grounds, it’s a great way to enjoy our lovely city!

Not only is there, an amazing line up but also various stands, which you can enjoy, here are a few of our top choices for you to go and see while you rave in the city!

SATURDAY

kelisKelis.

Who doesn’t remember whipping out your milkshakes for all them boys in the yard? Well, join Kelis on Saturday on the main stage at 10pm to see who brings out more boys to the yard.

Dusky.

An electronic duo from London that have accelerated fast since they started only three years. They are definitely two lads that should not be missed on the main stage at 8.15pm.

PrYmary Colours.

Love these guys!!! They were playing at our tent at Pride and they were Brillllianttttt!! So be sure to check them out on the main stage at 4pm.

SUNDAY

Kelly Ann- Byrne.

Proud to call her one of our own as she has been dj’ing on Dublin’s Club night scene for over 12 years. You may have checked her out venues such as the Opium, Lost Society, Twisted Pepper and Mother and on the radio as she hosts “The Beat Goes On” on Today FM. She is a must see at the main stage on Sunday 3pm.

Block Party Todd

Todd Terje

Referred to as the disco-king. See why on Sunday at 9.45pm on the main stage.

What’s a party without an after party? Well Dublin City Block Party, know just this, which is why they have an awesome after party featuring Erol Alkan, plus a special guest!

Food and Places you need to see…

Aungier Danger.

Dublin’s favourite Donuts, if you haven’t tried them already, be sure to try the various, unique, delish donuts.

Strong Roots.

Knowing your roots, is something Strong Roots advocate as they create oven based healthy sweet potato snacks for us all.

Cut & Sew.

For men who want a clean shave, a trim, a crop or a total new style.

Babooshka.

Getting us glitz and glam at the pink Babooshka tent for facepaint, glitter, dreads and feather extensions.

Outstraight.

We saw these guys at Body&Soul and were literally blown away. Live graffiti with a beautiful sincere story to tell.

We live in a beautiful city, so let’s celebrate and embrace what we have at Dublin City Block Party.
