We were contacted by Siobhan & Oscar only a couple months before their wedding, they had a vision of what they wanted but they were looking for some skilled hands to pull it all together for them. Siobhan is quite a crafty lady and she had commandeered some of her friends and family to help her craft pieces of decor for the wedding. We were eager to help this very warm and relaxed couple with their minimal, colourful wedding set against the beautiful backdrop of the Chocolate Factory.
Pulling together elements of shabby chic furniture, paper lanterns, paper pom pom’s, festoon lights, lace, and hand made yarn pom pom’s made by Siobhan and her crew. And finally Siobhan’s hand made “Love rug” made specially for the ceremony. Downstairs in the dinning area, we collected glass jars and old brown bottles, filled with ferns and other earthy greens, as well as tea cups with potted plants. There were to be no cut flowers here! only small plants that they could then take home and plant in their garden afterwards.
Just like that the stage was set, and what a beautiful day for such an occasion. Mid summer, sunny day and all plans went off without a hitch. We wish Siobhan and Oscar every happiness in their new adventures together.

“We absolutely loved working with Sineád and Dee from H&G Creations for our wedding day. We came to them at the last minute as panic had set in with regard to dressing the venue on the day of our wedding. We had handmade and gathered a lot of our props and decorations and thought about setting it all up ourselves but then the reality of missing out on meeting family and friends the day before our wedding and the scale of work that it involved hit us. We contacted the ladies and met with them at the venue and they just put us completely at ease. They were so friendly and warm as well as professional and focused, the perfect combination when it comes to putting your trust in a company for your wedding. They completely ‘got’ what we wanted and we were absolutely blown away when we walked into the Chocolate Factory the day of our wedding. It was exactly what we wanted, and at the same time more than we could have wished for. The girls were there throughout the day keeping an eye on everything and setting up spaces for different parts of the day, and to be honest we felt as if they were old friends who just happened to be keeping our wedding day running smoothly. We have seen some of their other events, and they have created so many different styles and nailed them all. We couldn’t recommend them enough, in fact we have already recommended them to friends.” – Siobhan & Oscar
