Hugh and Petra approached us to help them create a design savvy warehouse wedding in one of our favourite venues in Dublin, The Chocolate Factory. A beautiful bare boned warehouse on North King Street Dublin 1, a blank canvas for any one with a vision. They had some very strong concepts and really only needed a hand pulling all of the elements together, we worked along side them creating a hand painted geometric backdrop for the ceremony. Carrying on with the colourful geometric shapes theme into their flower arrangements.
Collecting mismatched poison bottles of all shapes and sizes for small ferns and other greenery, we were given opportunities to bring playfulness into the decor with colour, texture, festoon lights and balloons….lots of balloons. Creating hand made flower arrangements for tables at the ceremony and reception and for the bride and her brides maids. From start to finish it was a pleasure working with such a wonderfully relaxed and vibrant couple.
“We had Hunt and Gather help us out with our wedding at the Chocolate Factory – they were amazing to work with! Helpful and fun, while at all times clear, calm and professional. We had met with a few other event people who just didnt seem to get us or what we were after. From the very start, Dee and then Sinead were excellent at listening and turning our all-over-the-place-ideas into coherent and clearly costed plans. We really couldn’t have done it without them. It turned what could’ve been a very stressful situation into a helluva good time and a great party! Would recommend them to anyone planning anything!” – Hugh & Petra
